One of the most important team goals for the Nitro is qualifying swimmers for the USA Swimming Scholastic All American list. Huge for the swimmers as it goes on college applications and then job resumes for life. To us it demonstrates balance and the ultimate goal of being a true Student-Athlete. Qualifications are a min 3.5 core GPA, 10th-12th grade, as well as the minimum time cuts which are at the NCSA time level.
The 2012-2013 class just got announced and Nitro is 1st in the state of Texas ( again ), 5th in the Nation and it is our highest number of qualifiers ever with 17! Amazing job and very well done to the swimmers listed below! The bar has been set for this years team…
