Comprised of Grant Shoults (Laguna Hills, Calif./Mission Viejo Nadadores), Maxime Rooney (Livermore, Calif./Pleasanton Seahawks), Sean Grieshop (Cedar Park, Texas/Nitro Swimming) and Grant House (Noblesville, Ind./Countryside YMCA), the men’s 800m free relay cruised to gold in 7 minutes, 13.76 seconds – 4 seconds clear of the field. The wire-to-wire win eclipsed Great Britain’s two-year-old world junior and meet record. Australia earned silver in 7:17.76, with Russia taking the bronze in 7:19.45.
